Ashley Tisdale lets out a small laugh as she picks up a Starbucks to go while out in Toronto with her mom Lisa on Wednesday morning (May 26).
The 24-year-old actress is getting ready to start filming on Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures.
The new DCOM will follow Ash’s alter ego, Sharpay Evans who about to meet her destiny on Broadway, and luckily, theater lighting highlights her hair and skin tone beautifully. Her big break comes after a talent scout spots her performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala, and now there’s not a marquee big enough or lights bright enough to contain the glorious fame she plans on having.
Sharpay and Boi head to New York, but theatre is a dog eat dog world, and nothing turns out as Sharpay expects, especially when she meets her match in a rather daunting Broadway starlet.

Ashley Tisdale sits inside her massive closet in a new feature from the June 2010 issue of InStyle magazine.
The 24-year-old actress offers a unique view of her new home in Toluca Lake, Calif., and dished about what inspired her to decorate and her “contractor” gene.
Part of Ashley’s new home — the pool area and backyard — were modeled loosely on Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, which is one of Ash’s favorite hotels in the tropics.
Ashley shared, “I definitely got my dad’s [Mike] ‘construction’ gene. When I was younger, I had my own tool belt. I can build anything from Ikea! Also, whenever I travel, I get really into the architecture of the buildings.”

Ashley Tisdale is off to Toronto today to get started on very first, own DCOM, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures.
The 24-year-old actress caught up with MTV at the CW Upfronts about some surprises in the film.
Ashley shared about which Wildcat would make an appearance, “I know [Vanessa's] super busy because she’s about to promote her movies and stuff. But we definitely do have a special cameo. You just don’t know which character it is. I do. I just can’t tell you. It’s a secret!”

The 24-year-old actress shared with JJJ last week at the CW Upfronts in NYC about her upcoming DCOM, “It’s Sharpay’s story this time. She was always the one you loved to hate, but in this one [movie] you’re going to love her.”
Ashley continued, “You’re going to find out why she is the way she is.”

Ashley Tisdale holds onto Maui in her arms as she heads into a studio in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (May 21).
Not only does the 24-year-old actress have an upcoming TV series (Hellcats) and a DCOM (Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures) coming out, she’s also signed on to a new Jason Fuchs‘ project called The Last First Time.
In an interview with the NY Post, Jason shared, “It’s an apocalyptic romantic comedy. I play a college freshman who is still a virgin and he discovers that the world is going to be destroyed by a meteor in 48 hours. So I decide to take advantage of that and hook up with a girl I’ve had a crush on since 6th grade, played by Ashley. It goes very badly.”

Ashley Tisdale loops her arm through costar Matt Barr’s as they arrive at 2010 The CW Network UpFront held at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Thursday morning (May 20).
Hellcats is a coming-of-age drama about a young pre-law student, Marti (Aly Michalka) whose world is turned upside-down when she loses her scholarship and has to join the college’s competitive cheerleading squad. This fun, energetic series is a behind-the-scenes look at the drama, politics and pressure surrounding the high school football program at a Southern university.
The series, also starring Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens and Sharon Leal, will air Wednesdays this fall on the CW. (FYI: That’s the same time slot as TBL: The Beautiful Life was at! Ash’s former HSM costar Corbin Bleu starred in it).
